Brenda Baxter Receives Lantern Award

 

COLUMBIA, TN (November 6, 2009)– Developed in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of the bank, the Community First Bank & Trust Lantern Award was developed to recognize employees of the bank who continue to demonstrate a volunteer spirit within the community, a positive attitude in their job and performance that goes above and beyond what is expected of them in their role here at Community First Bank & Trust.  With these parameters, Marc Lively, President & CEO, would like to announce this quarter’s winner, Brenda Baxter.

 

Brenda Baxter has been with the bank for 10 years! During her tenure, she has served in a number of roles including teller, branch manager, coordinator of new branches, and teller trainer, among others. Brenda’s nominations by not 1..or.. 2 but 5 employees included such descriptors as outgoing, friendly, valued community member, knowledgeable, compassionate, dedicated, kind, professional, good person, and service oriented. Brenda is a favorite among customers and employees alike, working long hours with a smile on her face. She is passionate about her work and people trust her ability to make decisions soundly because of her thorough understanding and knowledge of the bank. Several people have referred to her as their role model, mentor and most importantly friend.
